Watermark Problem?

I know there are many out there screaming for help why watermark formed all over their car.

Hey, believe me, you're not the only one out there!

So, why watermark formed?? Well, it forms after acidic rain drops on paintwork and left under the hot sun for a period of time. As rain dries up, acidic compound in the droplet tends to react with paintwork. If left them for longer period, it will corrodes into the primer and even polishes cant even remove it.

So, how to remove them??? YES.....you're RIGHT.... POLISHING!! Absolutely, polishing is able to remove the watermarks BUT, depending on the seriousness. If not too serious (just surface etching), polishing will have no problem to remove them. BUT if it's serious (etched to the primer), we might need to sand paper the affected area to remove them. Otherwise, you might need to repaint your whole car! Sounds scary...

So, ladies and gentleman, please take a good care of your car!! :)

How to prevent water spots from coming back? This is a tough questions. There are two important things you can do to help prevent water spots from coming back.

1) Remove water before it can dry and potentially leave a water spot. Or, you may park your car under shed to prevent droplet.
2) Maintain a good coat of wax on all the painted surfaces. In our shop, we use Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax and Gold Class Wax to protect your car.

Thats all for now! CYA....
